September Newsletter 2015
Spring is finally here and even with all the rain we've endured recently, there is still that definite feeling of summer being on its way!
Although our Dental Awareness month is over, you can still book your pet in for a free dental check with a nurse if you have any concerns about your pet's teeth or if you just want to ensure they're doing well. For any dentals during the month of September, your pet will receive a free bag of Hill's T/D to go home and trial.
What's new?
It's with sadness that we have to farewell one of our lovely nurses, Nicolette, as she is off to re-join the world of emergency afterhours care, something that she is extremely excited about after doing emergency care in Alaska for so many years. We're very sad to see her go as she was a wonderful asset to our clinic but we wish her all the best!
We will be welcoming a new nurse to our team from the end of September. Melissa is a bright and enthusastic nurse who completed a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at Unitec Institute of Technology. We are excited to welcome her aboard and we know she'll make a wonderful addition to our team.
Our vets Monique and Emma are gearing up for an exciting weekend midway through September as they will be attending an emergency medicine course. The two day event will involve learning new techniques and treatments as well as give our vets a chance to meet and discuss techniques with other qualified professionals so they can continue furthering their knowledge.
Special deals this month!
For any bag of Hills Feline Mature food purchased, you will receive a free fleece blanket for your cat to cuddle up with on those cold nights!
Nexgard special - Buy a three pack of Nexgard and you will get an extra single dose free!
With any pack of Frontline Plus comes a free pet groomer to help your pet get their summer coat looking sleek and shiny!
We hope that even with all this rain, you've been able to enjoy the few lovely spring days we've had!
All the best,
The team at Whangaparaoa Vet Centre.
