EXTENDED HOURS!

Whangaparaoa Vet Centre has undergone a few changes over the last couple weeks with us having extended our consulting hours to be more accessible to you! Our consulting hours for Monday through to Friday are 8:45 to 7pm, with lunchtime consults now being availble so we are able to make an appointment for your pet at any time during the day. We have also extended consulting hours on Saturdays, with appointments being availble between 8:30am and 4pm to make it easier for those juggling a busy week schedule.

WELCOME EMILIE!

We are also very excited to welcome our newest vet and team member, Emilie Mendez! Emilie qualified in 2014 from Massey University in Palmerston North and joined the Whangaparaoa Veterinary team in March 2015. She first came to Whangaparaoa Vet Centre at 15 years old for work experience and it was here where she decided to become a veterinarian so it is with great pleasure that we welcome her back as a qualified vet. Emilie is already a familiar face around the clinic and we are very happy to have her with us.

SPECIAL OFFER!

If your cat or dog is behind on their vaccinations, Whangaparaoa Vet Centre are offering a special Vaccine Amnesty for the months of June and July, designed to help you get your pet back on track with their vaccinations. We understand that this can happen for a number of reasons and that annual vaccinations can be overlooked due to financial restraints and the fact that we all lead busy lives. However, the longer your pet is left unvaccinated, the more vulnerable they can be to infectious diseases. If your cat or dog hasn't been vaccinated within the last 15 months, their entire vaccination programme is invalid and will need to be restarted. To help you with this, we've designed a special offer where it will cost the normal price of $65 for cats (Tricat vaccination) and $92 for dogs (DHP/Lepto vaccination) for the first vaccination to restart the programme, but the second booster needed in four weeks time with be FREE.

If you'd like to know more on this offer or you are unsure when your pet is next due a vaccination, please contact the clinic for more information.

All the best,

The team at Whangaparaoa Vet Centre
